Our Commitment
StoryRetriever is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards across our website and application.
Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy on every page
- Descriptive alt text on all non-decorative images
- ARIA labels and roles on interactive components
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
- A "Skip to main content" link on every page
- Minimum touch target sizes of 44x44 pixels
- Color contrast ratios that meet WCAG AA thresholds
- Forms with programmatic labels, not placeholder-only inputs
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some content may not yet fully meet every guideline. We are actively working to identify and resolve any remaining issues.
